Celebrate Being Yourself

Are businesses a medium for people to express themselves throughout their lifetimes? I believe they are a way for us to celebrate being ourselves—showing up at our best to serve a community and build a legacy.

The ultimate question in life seems to revolve around finding purpose. What is our raison d’être? Why are we here? Some people get lucky and align with their ‘why’ at an early age, but most of us figure it out as we go. It can take years, sometimes decades. But once we find that North Star, things start to fall into place.

I know that my purpose is to inspire others to celebrate being themselves. I’ve been gifted with heightened senses, burning curiosity, and an overactive mind that allow me to notice the subtleties of life’s magic around me. As an entrepreneur, I uncover people’s essence and bring out the best in them, and as a photographer, I enjoy the abundant beauty surrounding me.

It’s a game of give-and-take, a good deal. I never get bored because I’m constantly drawn to explore and discover that magic. I often find myself hovering slightly above it all, observing everything and everyone from a distance. I find my aliveness in those moments of discovering something extraordinary in people or places. I’m fascinated by the unique character each of us carries, and it breaks my heart to see people live their entire lives without ever discovering who they truly are.

From my point of view, we are all here to serve a higher purpose. Finding it allows us to celebrate being ourselves and inspire others—whether we express it through a business, an instrument, or the relationships we build.
